Ruth has developed a specialized blend of techniques to help heal chronic and acute pain issues and to maintain health and wellness in her clients. She blends deep tissue and relaxation techniques with a strong anatomical awareness of strength imbalances as well as areas of tightness or restriction. Ruth works with athletes, including endurance, collegiate, and professional athletes, as well as clients recovering from injury, surgery, and illness, such as cancer, fibromyalgia, autoimmune issues, and repetitive stress injuries like plantar fasciitis. In her private practice and group yoga classes, she emphasizes self care and a holistic approach to healing.
A native of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Ruth received a B.A. from the College of William and Mary and a M.A. from UNC-CH before attending the Body Therapy Institute in Silk Hope, NC, and the Dr. Vodder School for lymphedema and lymphatic massage.

Jon has always been passionate about healing and alternative medicine. After earning his BA from UNC Greensboro, he pursued his Massage Therapy training at Durham Technical Community College. Jon provides integrative, therapeutic sessions that utilize Swedish and Lomi Lomi techniques for relaxation, along with a variety of deep tissue methods to address specific problem areas.

Fresh out of college, Kristen began a career in advertising…until she got tired of selling things to people they didn't need or shouldn't have.
She became a yoga instructor, teaching in several states, until moving to North Carolina.
Here, Kristen sought a new understanding of the body. She decided that massage therapy would complement what she knew to help others. In 2016, Kristen graduated from Body Therapy Institute in Siler City.
Since then, she's crafted a style of massage that typically combines Swedish, deep tissue and myoskeletal alignment techniques, as well as assisted stretching and cupping.
Her method is slow and progressive.

SCHEDULING: Click the Schedule Now button, or contact the therapist directly via phone or email to schedule your appointment at CMT.
RATES: Prices are available on our scheduling site and under Our Services. Advance payment is optional for appointments but required for gift cards and packages.
LOCATION: We are located on the second floor, so please keep in mind that there is no elevator when scheduling your visit.
PROFESSIONALISM: We expect both clients and therapists to exhibit behavior that is suitable for a healthcare setting.
CONFIDENTIALITY: We respect your privacy, and all client information is kept strictly confidential. We will not share your information with outside parties without a signed, written request from you.
TREATMENT TIMES: Sessions begin and end at the scheduled times, so please arrive 5 minutes prior to your treatment. If you arrive late, we may not be able to extend your session.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If you need to reschedule or cancel, please provide more than 24 hours notice. Last minute or same-day cancellations will incur the full charge for the scheduled treatment.
PAYMENT OPTIONS: We accept all forms of payment for your convenience, including HSA debit cards.
TIPPING: Tipping is appreciated but not required; your treatment will remain high quality and therapeutic regardless. You can choose to tip online during credit card payments or in cash in person. If the thought of tipping causes you stress, just select 'no tip' when paying—we want your experience to be relaxing.
